What happens at a Bugs on Wheels Experience??

Step 1

I will show up to your desired location and set up my little friends and their enclosures! I typically bring about 10 kinds of bugs with me, including some taxidermy.

Step 2

I will bring one type of bug out at a time and give facts and interesting information about them, as well as give time for questions and answers about that bug.

Step 3

After that, I allow time for everyone to touch, hold, or look at them if they so wish. Each presentation typically lasts 45-60 minutes depending on everyone’s interaction. Sometimes people may ask for me to bring out a bug a second time, and I’m usually happy to do this, as I want everyone to have the same experience! I am able to do experiences both indoors or outdoors, year-around, weather permitting.

PLEASE NOTE: Although this rarely happens, I reserve the right to not allow someone to hold a bug if that person is displaying very high fear or disrespect towards the bug. These creatures can be very delicate and can die or become permanently injured if dropped or thrown, whether on purpose or on accident. In addition, I do my very best to provide the same amount of bugs for each Experience. However, at times I may not be able to bring a particular bug for reasons such as them being not healthy enough to travel, they are in the middle of a molt, or they need to be replaced due to a sudden death. At the end of the day, the bug’s health is the most important thing to me, and I appreciate your understanding of these amazing creatures!
